These truffle selections are ideal for culinary delights or to nourish the growth of cultivated truffles through mycorrhiza with young trees.

Collect the parcel from the courier as soon as possible. Remove the vacuum-sealed truffle package from the transport box and place it immediately in a freezer at or below −18°C.

  • Storage temperature: keep frozen at or below −18°C.
  • Packaging: keep the product tightly sealed to limit dehydration and absorption of odours from other frozen foods.
  • Defrosting: defrost the required quantity under refrigeration and use it promptly.
  • After defrosting: do not leave the product at room temperature unnecessarily.
  • Refreezing: do not refreeze thawed truffle slices unless the current product label specifically permits it.
  • Shelf life: 24 months from the date of manufacture when the unopened product is stored continuously at or below −18°C.

Always follow the storage instructions and use-by date printed on the product label.

The frozen truffle slices are vacuum-packed and placed in an insulated transport container with cooling materials appropriate for the destination and expected transit time.

Terra Ross uses express or temperature-appropriate courier services according to the destination. Frozen products are available only for countries and delivery routes where suitable transport conditions can be provided.

Delivery availability, courier service and estimated transit time are shown for the selected destination during checkout. Collect the parcel promptly and transfer the unopened product to a freezer at or below −18°C immediately after delivery.

The product contains frozen slices of Tuber aestivum. It should not be confused with Black Winter Truffle (Tuber melanosporum) or Burgundy Truffle (Tuber uncinatum).

The truffles are inspected before processing and selected for species, maturity, firmness and sound internal condition. Truffles showing unacceptable softness, deterioration or visible pest damage are excluded.

The selected truffles are washed, machine-cut into approximately 1 mm slices, individually quick frozen and vacuum-packed under controlled production conditions.
