Fresh black truffle scent-training material: 100 g whole fresh Tuber aestivum or Tuber uncinatum, depending on seasonal availability. The supplied species is stated on the product label. The material is vacuum packed and intended exclusively for controlled canine scent training.
White truffle-flavoured olive oil: 100 ml edible olive oil for human culinary use, supplied in this kit primarily as a consistent white truffle aroma cue for canine training.
Black truffle-flavoured olive oil: 100 ml edible olive oil for human culinary use, supplied in this kit primarily as a consistent black truffle aroma cue for canine training.
The three components have different intended uses and must be handled according to their individual labels and instructions.
Introduce each scent source separately. Place the fresh truffle material inside a securely closed, ventilated training container so the dog can detect the aroma without direct access.
For either oil, apply only a few drops to a cotton pad, scent holder or training object. Place the scented material inside a separate secure container reserved for that aroma.
Begin with clearly presented targets before progressing to concealed indoor hides and controlled outdoor searches. Reward the dog separately after a correct identification.
Keep the three scent sources and their training objects clearly labelled and separate to reduce unintended scent transfer.
The fresh truffle is a perishable biological training material supplied in vacuum packaging. It may be transported without active refrigeration for up to 72 hours from dispatch.
Refrigerate it immediately upon receipt at 2–4°C. Keep the vacuum package sealed until the material is required. Once opened, use it immediately and discard any unused material after the training session.
Do not open the package and discard the material if delivery has exceeded 72 hours from dispatch, the vacuum seal is broken, the package is swollen, leaking, punctured or damaged, visible liquid is present, an unpleasant or unusual odour is detected, or there is any doubt about its condition.
Keep both bottles tightly closed and follow the best-before date and storage instructions printed on their individual labels. Protect the oils from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
Do not allow the dog to drink directly from either bottle or consume an uncontrolled quantity. The oils are not pet food, dietary supplements or unrestricted dog rewards.
The oils are edible food products for human use, but their primary purpose in this kit is to provide repeatable aroma cues during controlled canine training exercises.

Begin with clearly presented targets in a quiet environment. Progress gradually to concealed indoor hides and controlled outdoor searches only after the dog reliably identifies the selected cue. Reward the dog separately after each correct response.
The oils provide repeatable training cues, while the fresh truffle provides natural biological scent material. The sources should not be presented as identical or mixed together during the initial recognition stages.
